HOW TO ACCURATELY MEASURE A PILLOW COVER
Choosing the Right Insert Size
The relationship between your insert and cover size determines how your finished pillow looks and feels.

For a fuller look, choose an insert that is slightly larger than the cover and consider the insert’s fill and loft. There is no single size difference that works for every insert.
Common Pillow Cover Dimensions
All measurements are seam-to-seam. Choose an insert the same size for a snug fit, or slightly larger for more fullness.

Pillow covers are measured from seam to seam for the most accurate measurement. To measure, remove the pillow cover from insert / filler, turn the cover inside out, lay the cover on a flat surface and measure from the inside seam to seam. If the measurement is taken from the front of the pillow cover side to side, the sizing will be smaller than the actual pillow cover size.
Steps to follow to measure a pillow cover (removable)
1. Remove the pillow cover from the insert / filler
2. Turn the cover inside out and lay on a flat surface
3. Measure from inside seam to inside seam (length + width) with flexible tape measure for a pillow cover size
